Visitor Rules of the Praguephoria Exhibition

Visitor satisfaction is our priority, which is why we have issued these Visitor Rules to help keep our premises safe and calm. To achieve that goal, and with it your satisfaction, we ask for your active help in following the rules below. Please take the time to read them. Thank you.

The Visitor Rules are published on the operator's website www.praguephoria.com and are also displayed at the box office on the premises of Praguephoria s.r.o.

Visitors are required to read these Visitor Rules in full before purchasing a ticket to the VR Tour of Prague in Historic Carriages exhibition. By purchasing a ticket, the visitor confirms that they have read the Visitor Rules thoroughly, understand them, agree with them and undertake to comply with them.

Any breach of the Visitor Rules may be grounds for removing the visitor from the exhibition and, where applicable, from the operator's other premises, with no right to a refund of the admission fee or to any compensation or damages. The same applies to a visitor accompanying a minor or a person with limited legal capacity who breaches the Visitor Rules.

The operator reserves the right to amend the Visitor Rules at any time.

Article 1 – General provisions

1.1 The Visitor Rules are issued by Praguephoria s.r.o., company ID 24577031, registered office Nové náměstí 1370/12, Uhříněves, 104 00 Prague 10, Czech Republic, registered at the Prague City Court, file no. C 443543. They apply to all customers, other visitors, accompanying persons and guides (the "visitor") of the exhibition. The Visitor Rules define and specify the obligations of the visitor as a party to the purchase contract concluded under Section 2079 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Czech Civil Code, or to another contractual relationship. Anyone entering the premises of the exhibition becomes a visitor. By entering the premises, the visitor expresses agreement with the Visitor Rules and undertakes to follow their provisions.

1.2 The operator of the VR Tour of Prague in Historic Carriages exhibition (the "exhibition") is Praguephoria s.r.o., company ID 24577031, registered office Nové náměstí 1370/12, Uhříněves, 104 00 Prague 10, Czech Republic, registered at the Prague City Court, file no. C 443543.

1.3 The exhibition is located at Karmelitská 379/18, Malá Strana, 118 00 Prague 1.

1.4 The exhibition is open to visitors all year round, daily, according to the current opening hours, except on days when the operator exercises its right to rent the exhibition to groups on the basis of a confirmed booking.

1.5 Visitors are required to pay the admission fee in the amount set. Children may visit the exhibition accompanied by a legal guardian or as part of a school group. Each person with a severe physical disability may be accompanied free of charge by one adult.

1.6 Evacuation of the exhibition is governed by the building's Fire Regulations. In the event of an evacuation, every person present in the building is required to follow the evacuation plan and the instructions of the operator's authorised persons managing the evacuation until the Prague Fire and Rescue Service or the Police of the Czech Republic arrive. From that moment on, everyone follows the instructions of the incident commander.

Conduct in the exhibition

Every person entering the exhibition is required to behave so as not to damage the building or its equipment, and to keep the premises clean and tidy.

The following items must not be brought into the exhibition:

weapons, ammunition, munitions or any part thereof,
defence sprays, electric stun guns, tasers and similar devices,
stabbing, cutting or striking weapons or any part thereof,
pyrotechnics, pressure vessels, aerosol sprays, hypodermic needles and similar items,
narcotic or psychotropic substances, as well as substances otherwise dangerous to life or health (poisons, flammable, caustic, volatile, corrosive and dyeing substances) and substances of unknown nature.

If the ban on bringing in dangerous items is breached, the visitor will not be admitted to the exhibition.

The following is strictly prohibited in the exhibition:

handling an open flame,
using narcotic or toxic substances,
handling loose inventory and damaging equipment,
sticking labels on or drawing on the exhibition's fittings,
entering areas not intended for visitors,
interfering with electrical equipment and wiring,
handling fire protection equipment where there is no fire hazard,
interfering with temperature controls or otherwise handling the heating system,
using flying drones or other similar devices,
riding a bicycle, unless the operator has granted an exemption.

Consuming your own refreshments, that is non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks and food, is not permitted on the exhibition premises, except for documented medical reasons. Breaching this rule results in removal from the exhibition. The operator is further entitled to remove a visitor who publicly endorses the prohibited conduct of another visitor whom the operator has barred from staying on the premises.

Damage to exhibition property and visitor injuries

1. Every visitor enters and stays on the exhibition premises at their own responsibility and risk. The operator is liable only for damage to health or property caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct of its employees or other authorised persons.

2. The operator is not liable for the contents of visitors' pockets and luggage.

3. The operator is not liable for items left in the exhibition building and bears no liability for damage to or theft of visitors' personal belongings.

4. Visitors are required to compensate any damage or loss caused through their fault to the operator or to third parties. Compensation will be enforced in accordance with the applicable legislation.

5. Visitors must report any injury, fire or property damage to the operator without delay.

6. A stocked first aid kit for treating minor visitor injuries is available on the premises. If you need it, approach the nearest member of staff.

Article 2 – Visitor obligations

2.1 A visitor is any person who comes to the exhibition in order to view it. Minors and persons with limited legal capacity must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. Group visits consist of a maximum of 12 people; groups of children must have teaching staff accompanying them.

2.2 Every person entering the exhibition building is required to follow the instructions of authorised staff and to behave so as not to damage the building and its equipment.

2.3 The operator reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any person whose behaviour breaches the Visitor Rules or whose behaviour it deems improper, with no refund of the admission fee.

2.4 Entry to the exhibition is not permitted to persons under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances, to persons in heavily soiled clothing, and to persons entering for the purpose of door-to-door selling who intend to offer services or goods without the building owner's permission.

2.5 Dogs are not allowed in the exhibition.

2.6 Bulky luggage and sharp or otherwise dangerous items that could endanger the safety of others must not be brought into the exhibition. Exhibition staff have the right to decide whether an item is dangerous.

2.7 If a visitor causes any material damage, they are required to pay the cost of restoring the original condition.

2.8 Throughout the exhibition it is prohibited to take video or photographs without the consent of the staff, to touch exhibits other than interactive ones, to consume alcohol, to smoke, to enter with animals, to enter with fire and to enter with weapons.

2.9 Visitors acknowledge that the exhibition building is monitored by security cameras.

2.10 If an exhibit is out of order, it is marked with an OUT OF ORDER sign and visitors must not handle it in any way.

2.11 Visitors are required to be considerate towards other visitors, that is not to disturb them with excessively loud or otherwise extravagant behaviour.

2.12 Visitors are required to behave so that their conduct does not create danger for themselves or for any other person.

Article 3 – Special provisions on the VR attraction

The exhibition tour includes a virtual reality ("VR") attraction in historic carriages. By purchasing a ticket, the visitor agrees to the conditions of use set out below.

3.1 The operator points out that the VR attraction is not suitable for every visitor, in particular for people suffering from vertigo, allergy to disinfectants, eye defects, loss of consciousness, headaches, high blood pressure, heart disease, back pain, epilepsy, disorientation, impaired balance or any other condition affecting the musculoskeletal system.

3.2 Persons under the influence of medication or other addictive substances must not enter the exhibition.

3.3 Some people may experience loss of balance, headache, dizziness and similar symptoms during and after a stay in virtual reality.

3.4 In exceptional cases some people may experience epilepsy-like symptoms during and after a stay in VR.

3.5 The VR attraction may not be suitable for people sensitive to scents or excessive noise.

3.6 The VR attraction is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with a visual impairment and people suffering from a respiratory illness or allergy.

3.7 The VR attraction is not intended for people under 10 years of age. If a minor visits the attraction, the consent of a legal guardian is required.

3.8 The VR attraction is not recommended for elderly people.

3.9 A stay in the VR attraction should not exceed 30 minutes.

Article 4 – Notice of increased risks during the tour

Visitors enter the exhibition voluntarily and are required to behave and move cautiously, not to enter areas or sit anywhere other than the places designated for that purpose, and not to handle exhibits contrary to their purpose.

4.1 Notice of the risk of hitting your head on the premises.

4.2 Notice of the risk of falling when leaning out of the historic carriages.

4.3 Notice of the risk of injury when handling the carriage's closing doors.

Article 5 – Final provisions

The operator bears no liability for injuries and damage caused by breaching the Visitor Rules.

If a visitor causes damage by breaching these rules, they are required to compensate it in full under the applicable legislation. If a visitor refuses to prove their identity, the assistance of the Police of the Czech Republic will be requested. The scope, amount and method of compensation will be determined under the applicable regulations.

Compliance with the Visitor Rules is the responsibility of the day shift manager and the operator's responsible person.

These Visitor Rules take effect on 1 June 2026.

Fire alarm directive

The fire alarm directive sets out the obligations of persons in the event of a fire and aims to ensure a fast and effective response to a fire, accident or other emergency.

What to do when you spot a fire and where to report it

Everyone is required to report a discovered fire without delay at the designated place, or to ensure it is reported.
In case of fire call the Fire and Rescue Service on 150.
State who is calling, where the fire is and what is burning. After reporting, wait for the fire reporting centre to call back.
Alert those around you by shouting FIRE loudly and repeatedly.
If circumstances allow, try to put the fire out using the nearest fire extinguisher.

Raising the fire alarm

For employees, the fire alarm is raised by shouting FIRE loudly.

What to do once the fire alarm is raised

The manager or another authorised employee:

switches off the electricity and gas supply and, where possible, removes flammable components that could increase the risk of the fire spreading,
organises and directs the evacuation of people, animals and property present,
immediately ensures, where possible, that all motor vehicles leave the endangered area.

Employees and other persons:

stay calm and composed and do not obstruct the intervention of the fire protection and integrated rescue system units,
in the event of immediate danger, leave the endangered area at once and gather at the designated place in front of the building by the main road.

Helping to fight the fire

In connection with fighting a fire, everyone is required to take the necessary measures to rescue endangered people, animals and property, to put the fire out if possible, or to take the necessary measures to prevent it from spreading. Everyone is required to provide personal assistance to the fire protection and integrated rescue system units at the request of the incident commander.
